We have chosen to do a music poster as our second ancillary task. Above is an example of an Arctic Monkeys poster that we think is succesful, this is some thing we would like to recreate as it is simple and concise. We would like to produce a poster that advertises our album, loosely fitting with the album cover we will also create.
The Libertines poster is also effective as it is striking to the eye and will draw the eye which is the main aim of a poster. The band name is in the centre of the poster which works well as it is the first thing the audience sees and immidiatlly knows what the poster is advertising. We would like our poster to be as much artowrk as a marketing poster.
